Site 122

Phou Hai Choung, Pha Mao village. This site was visited and geolocated by Skopal and Bounxayhip in 2020. They recorded one group of three badly damaged standing limestone jars, positioned on a narrow ridgeline, with views of the surrounding lowlands. The rim styles are undeterminable. Small stone outcrops were observed a few hundred meters to the South of the jars along the ridgeline, acting as a potential stone source. A few meters from the jars is a small pit dug by locals looking for treasure. Five small limestone slabs appear to have been removed from the pit, measuring a few centimeters in thickness and on average 50cm by 40cm in height and width.
