Site 105

Ban Napho, Napho Village. This site was visited and geolocated by Skopal and Bounxayhip in 2020. They report the presence of buried stone jars at this site. They recorded a single buried sandstone jar to the rim, with a reported second buried jar a few meters away which could not be located during fieldwork. Locals had uncovered the buried jars during the Indochina war when digging defensive entrenchments. The site is positioned on the lower slope of a hill with views to the South and South West over a valley. Aside from a small sandstone boulder a few meters to the North of the jar, there is no observable stone source in the vicinity.
