A second unit of excavation was established based on
survey with a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) unit.
A subsurface anomaly was returned during this survey
which indicated the presence of what appeared to be an
irregularly shaped object c. 40 cm underground. Based
on the unusual nature of the signal it was decided to
excavate atop it. Initially a 2 x 1 m unit was laid out and orientated north-south. The unit was excavated using
the same methodology as Unit 1. The northwest corner
of the unit was located at lat. 19.431165° lon. 103. 152124°.
